Witness pole fitness sport and artistry at the American Pole Fitness Championships™ where men & women will compete in their respective gender categories for the coveted title to be the nation’s top champion in the sport. Pole fitness dance artistry combined together with athleticism, similar to that of gymnastics, yoga, and the technical artistry derived from classical and modern dance, the championships brings pole fitness into mainstream sport. Expect a Cirque like, acrobatic and gymnastic presentation, with intense gravity-defying performances on a vertically standing pole. There will be national & international guest performers and many more surprises to be unveiled at the event. We had a great success last year and hope to outdo ourselves this year. The championships will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 6:30pm at the prestigious Manhattan Center‘s Grand Ballroom Theater where world-renowned artists, decade after decade, have performed and recorded. From Arturo Toscanini in the 30s to Grammy Award-winning recordings by Leonard Bernstein, Placido Domingo, to Oscar-winning film composers such as Eliot Goldenthal for Frida, the legend continues. The theater is located at 311 West 34th Street New York, NY 10001 accessible by several subway train stops at 34th street on 8th Avenue in New York City. All seats offer an excellent view of the stage and classic acoustics. Please preview the seating chart images below.

There are no seat assignments. Seating is on first come first serve basis by the section purchased. We encourage guests to arrive just in time for our 5pm red carpet, photo-ops, enjoy refreshments, network with other guests and get to their seats so we can start at 6:30pm sharp -true Broadway style. Late arrivals will only be allowed in between performances and never during.

DRESS CODE IS SMART & NEW YORK CHIC. The event is festive and we encourage all guests to dress to impress. You could be photographed by our sponsor magazine covering the big night or appear in any of the video coverage by our crew. BEST DRESSED FOR THE EVENT WINS A COVER PAGE that will be posted on the magazine’s website and shared with all of our readers worldwide! So glam up!

In keeping with the festive atmosphere, guests casually dressed in logo-ed clothing, t-shirt, jeans, sneakers, tank tops and the likes will not be allowed into the theater. Please let’s celebrate the event in style.

Due to high security and safety for everyone’s benefit, guests carrying large bags will NOT be allowed into the theater. Recording and/or photographing in the theater hall when the performances start, is strictly prohibited. Violators will be escorted out of the premises without warning. Please refrain from any photography and/or recording so this event can be easily enjoyable by all. If purchasing tickets for a group, please advise your guests of the rules and dress code. TICKETS ARE NON REFUNDABLE.

No age limit to attend the championship, however, the after-party at a nearby location (to be announced later) is 21 years of age minimum. We look forward to seeing you there at the star studded event!

Tickets will not be mailed. After completing your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email from Paypal and also an email within 48 hours from our staff confirming the payment. Simply print out a copy of the Paypal email, bring it with a photo ID to pick up your ticket at the theater’s Will Call check in desk. We accept all forms of payment: money orders and certified checks. All major credit cards are also accepted via Paypal.

APFA MAY REFUSE ENTRY OF GUESTS IT FEELS IS NOT IN MORAL STANDARD OF ITS MISSION. Premises will be videotaped and photographed. Guests must be aware that their image or form may appear in the events promotional coverage and marketing materials. APFA reserves all rights.
